The Oregon Ducks evened their Pac-12 Conference record on Wednesday night facing the Cal Bears at Matthew Knight Arena. It appears to be another season where injury could effect the team with Tranfer Dylan Ennis out for the rest of the season after re-aggravating a foot injury against Oregon State last week, but for Dana Altman it appears business as usual as the team will look to make it two straight games in Conference play on Sunday facing the Stanford Cardinal.

Oregon Ducks Last Time Out:

  • It was a battle from the start vs Cal on Wednesday with the game tied at halftime. It wasn’t until the final minutes that Oregon pulled out the win
  • Chris Boucher and Tyler Dorsey led the charge for Oregon with 18 and 17 points respectively.

The Stanford Cardinal are 9-5 on the season and have a hot streak of sorts winning four of their last five games. The player to watch is Rosco Allen who has stepped up his game in Pac-12 play averaging 14 points per game. Through the Non-Conference schedule he was averaging just under 7 points. Last time out, at Oregon State, the Cardinal out rebounded the Beavers by 17.  On the Defensive End Michael Humphrey is pulling down over 7 rebounds per contest. Stanford is in the middle tier of the Conference in several Defensive categories.

As a team they have 94 blocks and 57 steals on the season compared to Oregon with 122 steals and 91 blocks. Oregon is averaging 76 points per game this season, the Cardinal, 71. With a win, the Oregon Ducks would be in second or third place in the Conference hitting the road against Colorado and Utah for the upcoming week.
