Kelly Graves was hoping for a smooth transition from the Non-Conference schedule into the Pac-12 slate, but so far it has been anything but smooth for the second year Head Coach of the Oregon Ducks. Jillian Alleyne is a Pac-12 Star and in two games against Oregon State she fell from the sky on both occasions falling short of keeping a double double streak going from just about one year ago today. The Pac-12 Record came to an end on Friday night in Corvallis, but was not started again on Sunday afternoon in front of the home fans at Matthew Knight Arena.
Alleyne led with 10 rebounds, but just six points in the second loss in three days against the Beavers. The standout performance came from Liz Brenner who led the charge starting a 21-11 run that would give Oregon the lead at halftime after starting the game down 9-2 to Oregon State. Brenner had 13 points to lead the team and shot the ball 5 for 8 from the floor. Maite Cazorla gave Oregon a boost with 12 points. The Ducks also had 2 blocks and 11 steals in their fourth straight loss of the season. Oregon also saw their best home attendance of the year with over 2800 showing up to support the home team at Matthew Knight Arena.
