The Oregon Ducks Alamo Bowl Appearance against TCU appeared at first to be among the 2015 Bowl Season Blowout games. At the end of the first half, the 9-4 team out of the Pac-12 had a 31-0 lead, but the Horned Frogs saw opportunity with Oregon Starting Quarterback Vernon Adams out of the game to come back to win the game. Fans across the country talked about the comeback as it happened and why Jeff Lockie was playing as he could not lead the Offense in the second half. As a result the game was the highest ranked non-New Yearโ€™s Day Bowl Twitter TV Rating according to SportsBusinessDaily.

For Oregon and TCU, over 5.7 million people saw a total of 420,000 tweets. The total led the Pac-12 Conference for Bowl season. Stanford and Iowa met in the Rose Bowl and just 315,000 Tweets were seen during the blowout in Pasadena that saw Christian McCaffrey run rampant in all phases of the games against the Hawkeyes. Over the last several years the Oregon Ducks have been at the top of the Social Media game for every sport for the last several years.
