Salt Lake City, Utah is never an easy place to play, but of late the Oregon Ducks appear to have the Utah Utes number winning the last five games. Thursday night was no exception for a team that had lost just three of their last 47 games. Oregon was more than happy to make it four. Casey Benson started the game on fire and helped lead Oregon to an early lead. After that, Dana Altman watched his team not look back.

Benson had a career high 15 points and Dillon Brooks had another big game with 23 points and 8 rebounds in a 77-59 runaway win over the Utes on the road. Oregon hit 55 percent of their shots for the game while a stingy Oregon Defense finally put together a solid performance, helped in part by Utah’s 34 percent shooting from the field. Chris Boucher led the Defense with six blocks on Thursday night. Oregon also had 9 steals on the night despite a 15 turnover performance that ended up not being much of a factor.

Oregon picked up their third straight Pac-12 Conference win after losing the Civil War to begin Conference play last week and now sit in 2nd place in the Standings. It has been a crazy month in Conference play so far with upsets everywhere. The USC Trojans are the hottest team right now and sit at the top. Oregon will welcome the Trojans to Matthew Knight Arena next Thursday.
