Former Oregon Ducks Running Back Jonathan Stewart has been out for close to a month with a foot injury suffered against the Atlanta Falcons. He has missed the last four regular season games, but the Carolina Panthers have been okay without him. With 11 yards on the ground, Stewart will have 1000 yards on the season. He returned to Practice earlier this week and is ready to help the Carolina Panthers in what should be the best game of the weekend in the NFL.
Last week, every home team lost. Carolina will hope to turn that tide. The Panthers are the top Offense in the NFL putting up over 31 points per game. The Seattle Seahawks are the top Defense in the NFL. Something has got to give and Carolina has the home field advantage after going 15-1 in the Regular season. Seattle has had an up and down season that did not start out well, but they picked up a victory last weekend off a missed chip shot field goal from Minnesota.
On Thursday, Jonathan Stewart and backup Mike Tolbert stepped away from the game for a few hours and rewarded their Offensive Line with big screen televisions for their 2015 success, a class move by both Running Backs.
