On Friday night, the Oregon Ducks led 55 minutes against 11th ranked Stanford. In the final minutes, their lead went from 5 points to a 2 point loss as the Cardinal found a way to pull out a win in Eugene sending Oregon to 0-5 in the Pac-12 after an 11-0 non Conference start. Oregon will look to get back on track against the California Golden Bears on Sunday.  Cal comes in at 12-6.

The Golden Bears had their chance to see up close how good Oregon State is on Friday falling 70-48 to the Beavers. Oregon dropped two to Oregon State last week both on the road and at home. The schedule has not been kind to start Conference play and the Ducks could begin to turn things around on Sunday against Cal. Jillian Alleyne jump started Oregon on Friday night leading the team with 9 rebounds, but lacked in points. Stanford held her to just 5 points. However, this season she is not a one woman show as both Lexi Petersen and Lexi Bando led the team in scoring against the Cardinal.

Oregon also hit nine three pointers in the game. The Ducks had the final shot against Stanford, but it did not fall. There is good news facing the Golden Bears. Alleyne put up 33 points in their last meeting, but it was a 74-59 loss. The Ducks need another strong start on Sunday to get to their first Pac-12 win.
