The Seattle Seahawks came into the game following a crazy win over the Minnesota Vikings last weekend. It did not take long for them to be shell shocked as the Carolina Panthers took the ball and Jonathan Stewart scored on the opening drive of the game. Russell Wilson was then picked off by Luke Kuechly who scored on an 11 yard interception return for a touchdown putting Seattle in a 14-0 hole. Jonathan Stewart returned to the lineup and put in a 100 yard day on the ground going 106 yards and scoring two touchdowns.
On the first play from scrimmage Stewart scampered 59 yards showing no ill effects from a foot injury he suffered last month against the Atlanta Falcons. Another former Oregon Duck Ed Dickson caught two passes for 22 yards on the victory over Seattle. With the win, the Carolina Panthers will play host for the NFC Championship Game next weekend against the Arizona Cardinals who defeated the Green Bay Packers in Overtime on Saturday night.
