Former Oregon Ducks Quarterback Vernon Adams picked up where he left off in the Alamo Bowl and showed why Oregon wanted him to transfer last Fall. Adams threw three touchdowns in the East West Shrine game on Saturday, which was broadcast by the NFL Network. The game, one watched by fans and analysts alike and coached by coaches with experience in the National Football League gives players another look as they hope to enter the NFL Draft. On Saturday, no one had a bigger Draft stock building experience than Adams.
There were eight Quarterbacks on the roster, but it took just one play for Vernon Adams to open eyes. His first two drives under center ended up as touchdowns, including a 93 yard strike to former Purdue Wide Receiver Danny Anthrop. This in my mind is the most impressive. He has practiced this week with different players, a different line, and different Wide Receivers. His first half was lights out in leading the West to a 29-9 win over the East. Adams was named the Offensive MVP.
"Vernon Adams can play in the NFLJune Jones on Adams Performance on Saturday."
Mike Mayock from NFL.com listed Adams in the ‘made money’ category at the end of the game with his performance. Earlier in the week Adams was seen talking with a scout from the San Francisco 49ers and if they had their eye on him Saturday he may add some intrugue to the mix for Chip Kelly and Company in the NFL Draft. Now, it is preparation for the Combine that will be on the mind of Adams. With his performance there will certainly be more to look at as teams consider their team needs at Quarterback.

The NFL Combine is set for February 23rd-29th. Adams may also have an individual workout at the University of Oregon before the Combine.
