National Signing Day is quickly approaching and the Oregon Ducks are stopping at nothing to visit some of the top targets of the Class of 2016. One player who has been on the radar for a while is Keith Simms, a Linebacker from Florida. With a newly minted 4-3 Defensive scheme and a new Defensive Coordinator in Brady Hoke, the Ducks are looking to impress.
If your going to make a good impression, Simms is a good one. He is a 4-Star Linebacker who could come in and make an immediate impact with the Oregon Ducks. He received a recent visit from Oregon Coaches and has listed Oregon and Virginia Tech as the two teams that impressed the most.
Simms is 6 foot 3 and weighs 220. He runs a 4.65 40-yard dash and has the speed that Oregon is looking for. Could the visit have swayed his decision now that the Ducks have a game changer running the Defense? We won’t have to wait long to find out.
According to 247Sports, Simms plans on making his decision by Monday. With National Signing Day now less than two weeks away, having the 4-Star Linebacker in the fold would be a big step for the future of the Oregon Defense.
