The 2015 Bucket List continues for the Oregon Ducks as they beat Arizona for the first time in two seasons on the road snapping the Wildcats 49 game home winning streak.

The Arizona Wildcats are good. How good? On Thursday night they started the game hitting 9 of 10 from the floor to build a 13 point lead on the Oregon Ducks. It appeared they were well on their way to another win over Oregon to notch their 50th straight at home, but this Oregon team fought back to pull within a point at halftime. Four Oregon players finished the game in double figures and once again Dillon Brooks was the star of the game for Dana Altman and the Oregon Ducks. Brooks has led the team in scoring in almost every game this season and Thursday night he put in 24, leading four players in double digits.

Brooks, at times, made it look easy getting to the basket past several Arizona Defenders. Oregon went on a 10-0 run at the start of the second half and Arizona would come back, but the road team was too strong in the end, hit their foul shots, limited their turnovers while getting some key steals down the stretch for points and pulling off an upset that will be felt around the Pac-12 Conference for the rest of this season. They beat Arizona on their home court, something that has not been done in three years.

In looking ahead, the Oregon Ducks now have 9 wins against teams in the Top 50 RPI, a three game lead over everyone else in the Nation and a big statement come March, but they have to get there first. The road trip continues for the first place Oregon Ducks at 12-9 Arizona State. Tipoff is 5:30 Pacific Time on Sunday on ESPNU.
