Following a weekend that did not go well for the Oregon Ducks Basketball team in the Bay Area, on Monday the team fell out of the Top 15 in both the Associated Press and Coaches Polls. The Ducks are now 16th in the AP and 17th in the Coaches. Arizona swept the weekend at home including a game against USC and have jumped Oregon in both polls. The Wildcats have all of their remaining games at home. Oregon will look to end the skid this weekend hosting Oregon State in a Civil War rematch from the start of Pac-12 play from last month.

Arizona and Oregon are tied at the top of the standings, but one thing that few are pointing out right now is that the tie breaker goes to the Oregon Ducks. They won the head to head matchup at the McHale Center earlier this month. Most of the media are focusing on Arizona and talking as how the program will come back to lead the Pac-12 again this season. Regardless of the side of that conversation, both teams will make it to the NCAA Tournament. Selection Sunday is now a month away.

Of course, Oregon winning will get them further than losing. Oregon State comes to Matthew Knight Arena followed by games against Washington State and Washington. Wins could get Oregon back towards the Top 10 and closer to a top seed next month. If the losing streak continues they will be more toward the middle of the pack come Selection Sunday.
