Former Oregon Ducks Cornerback Ifo Ekpre-Olomu has spent the last year rehabbing an knee injury he suffered before his former team met Florida State in the College Football Playoff. It was 428 days ago when his Oregon Career ended, and it was thought his dream of playing in the National Football League would also end, but in the 7th Round, the Cleveland Browns drafted Olomu knowing the road he had ahead of him. That road is now coming to a end as the rehabilitation of his knee has him close to seeing the field once again, but this time at the next level.

On Monday, Ifo Ekpre-Olomu took to Instagram to share his thoughts on the last year and the year ahead.

"I’m as motivated as I’ve ever been I don’t think the injury ever changed any of my motivation. I’ve always been motivated to be a great player and play. That’s what I’ve always played for, so nothing has changed that. Most people either have that or you don’t. Some people feel satisfied but I don’t think I ever will.”Cleveland Browns Cornerback Ifo Ekpre-Olomu On His Recovery (via ClevelandBrowns.com)"

On the field work outs are helping Olomu get his knee back into football shape, and he is able to rehab near his Los Angeles home according to ClevelandBrowns.com. The former Oregon Cornerback was able to spend time with Pro Bowl Cornerback Joe Haden during the 2015 season as Haden was also suffering from injuries that kept him off the field. Ifo Ekpre Olomu is in line to be on the field for the Browns in 2016 and could be a key part and leader for a young and hungry Defensive Backfield.

Olomu was likely among a top tier NFL Draft pick before the setback he suffered in his final season with the Oregon Ducks. He was able to take his talent and an advantage in his drop in NFL Draft status in the form of a $3 million dollar insurance payout.
