The Oregon Ducks Men’s Basketball team is coming off back to back losses on the road at Cal and Stanford following a solid start to the season that last week saw the team ranked as high as 11th in the Associated Press poll.

Following the losses, Oregon now sits at 16th and will look to get a game back from the start of Pac-12 play on Saturday when Oregon State comes to Eugene for a Civil War matchup that the Beavers won the first time around. March Madness is right around the corner and many of the Bracketologists out there are holding the Oregon Ducks body of work pretty high considering this past week. Their RPI is still in the top five ranked 4th and their Strength of Schedule is still strong as well.

Jerry Palm from CBS  is still high on Dana Altman’s team despite the rough road trip and has Oregon slotted as a 3 seed and playing close to home in Spokane, Washington in his projection this week. The Ducks would face UAB in the first round with Virginia earning the top seed in the West Region.  Of course a win this weekend against Oregon State could go a long way in helping Oregon maintain a likely place near the top with Arizona also trying to keep pace in the Pac-12 Conference as well as the Tournament Seeding race.

It is the first sellout of the season and if you can’t make it out, the game will be on the Pac-12 Networks. Oregon and Oregon State take to the court at Matthew Knight Arena on Saturday at 7pm Pacific Time.
