Oregon Ducks Baseball Opens 2016 Season At San Diego State
The Oregon Ducks begin the 2016 season on the road in San Diego to take on the Aztecs.

The Oregon Baseball team will start the new season on Friday with a three game series on the mainland for the first time in five seasons. The Ducks come in with high hopes and a bevy of Left Handed Starters with Cole Irvin, Matt Krook and David Petersen along with talent and experience on the Offensive side of the ball.
Phil Craig-St. Louis returns as a key cog for the Oregon Ducks Offense in 2016. There are also sone new combers in the infield to with time could help anchor their positions. Last season Jakobn Goldfarb started in the outfield as a Frsehman. This season Infielder Travis Moniot could break into the lineup and move Mark Karaviotis over to Shortstop according to GoDucks.com
There is some added intrigue on the side of Starting Pitching with Oregon using two pitchers that have had Tommy John Surgery. Oregon Ducks Starters Cole Irvin and Matt Krook have returned successfully with Irvin back last season and Krook looking to return to Starting form in 2016.

The season begins on Friday with a three games series at San Diego State. First pitch on Friday is set for 6pm Pacific Time. Saturday has a first pitch at 1pm Pacific Time. The rubber game on Sunday is set for a Noon first pitch.
