It is clear right now that the Pac-12 Conference will come down to either the final weekend or the Pac-12 Tournament to ultimately determine the winner of the Conference Crown for 2015-16. As of Monday, the Standings have Arizona and Oregon tied at the top, the Ducks have the tiebreaker with Utah at 10-5 in Conference not far behind after beating USC on Sunday. In the both the Associated Press and Coaches Polls this week, the Oregon Ducks regained three spots and come in at 13th behind Arizona who cracked the Top Ten at 9th, but well ahead of Utah at 22.
There is so much Competition this season that the Pac-12 Conference has just three ranked teams this week in Arizona, Oregon and Utah. For both the Wildcats and Ducks it is not a matter if finishing strong and using the final regular season games as momentum into the Pac-12 Tournament. The winner in Las Vegas will have the best opportunity at a number one seed in the NCAA Tournament in March.
To close out the regular season the Oregon Ducks host Washington State and Washington this week before travelling to UCLA and UCLA. Arizona visits Colorado and Utah before returning to the McHale Center to host Cal and will look to avenge a loss from several weeks ago on the Golden Bears home floor. The Wildcats close out the regular season hosting Stanford. The upcoming Pac-12 tournament should be intriguing and fun to watch, especially if there is an early upset of one of the top three teams in the Pac-12 Conference.
