Oregon Ducks Chris Boucher Leads The Way In Win vs Washington State
The Oregon Ducks beat Ernie Kent and the Washington State Cougars on Wednesday night for their 24th straight home win entering the final regular season home finale on Sunday vs Washington.

The Washington State Cougars came to Matthew Knight Arena winning one Pac-12 Conference game in 2015-16 with just one win on the Pac-12 Conference this season. Oregon has defended their home court to an undefeated record this season. Dana Altman and the Oregon Ducks had just one game remaining at home this season and the Cougars would love nothing more than pick up a signature win to build on for next season. Were the Ducks up to the challenge?
Oregon started with the ball and within a matter of five minutes, the Ducks would go on a 10-0 run and see multiple opportunities at the basket to take a 17-3 lead on Washington State. Dana Altman would watch his team get off to a hot start hitting 55 percent from the floor and 60 percent from beyond the arc.
Washington State went on a run of their own to pull within 7 at 22-15. The Ducks would go cold hitting 1 for 6 with just over 10 minutes left in the first half. Oregon would add another three pointer from Tyler Dorsey to cap a 7-0 run before the Cougars would see the basket pushing the lead to 31-19 with just over 4 minutes left in the first half. For the first half no players on either side of the ball saw foul trouble. Oregon had 2, Washington State had 7 for the half.

The Oregon Ducks continued to extend the lead in the second half going on another 7-0 run. Dillon Brooks and Dwayne Benjamin would find themselves in minor foul trouble with Brooks picking up two quick fouls. Washington State would see Hugh Johnson depart with five fouls with just over 8 minutes left in the game. Elgin Cook would hit one of two free throws to push the Oregon lead to 18 points. Josh Hawkinson would hit a three pointer to put it back to 15 points.
In the end it was Oregon who won the game and hit 17 of 20 from the free throw line. Chris Boucher had 18 points and 13 rebounds for a double double to lead the Oregon Ducks as they extended their home winning streak.
