The Oregon Ducks Women’s Basketball team has won six of their last seven and wrapped up the home Pac-12 slate last Sunday with a win over the USC Trojans. It was their 20th win of the season. Kelly Graves now heads to Cal to take on the Golden Bears on the road. Cal comes in with three Pac-12 Conference wins and is hitting 44 percent from the floor and 37 percent from beyond the arc this season. Cal snapped an Oregon six game winning streak playing in Eugene earlier this season. The road is always a challenging place to play in the Pac-12.
Oregon is making a push for an NCAA Tournament bid and have yet to pick up what I would call a Signature win. With the final two games of the regular season this weekend against Cal and 13th ranked Stanford, that win will have to come on the road which in some ways is bigger then getting it at home.
Kristine Anigwe is one to watch for the Golden Bears. This season she is averaging over 20 points per game. Oregon will be looking to Lexi Bando and Lexi Petersen to find their feet early from beyond the arc. Oregon is looking to sweep the season series with Cal for the first time since the 2004-05 regular season. At this point any win can help with their post season hopes.
