The Oregon Duck Men’s Basketball team enters the final week of the Pac-12 Regular season on a two game winning streak and an undefeated 17 game home winning streak at Matthew Knight Arena.
The last time Oregon went on the road the results were not good. Two losses against Cal and Stanford. Dana Altman will look to use this past week’s momentum to finish strong. Up first, the UCLA Bruins on Wednesday night.
The Bruins have early season wins against Kentucky and Gonzaga, both were ranked in the Top 25 at the time. Since then, UCLA has cooled off a bit and dropped from the rankings. They have settled in the bottom third of the Pac-12, six games out of first place and a mediocre 6-10 on the Pac-12 season.
Issac Hamilton his averaging over 16 points per game for the Bruins and the always dangeruos Bryce Alford is hitting close to 40 percent from beyond the arc. It will be important for the Oregon Ducks to get off to a quick start and not get behind early to allow the crowd to help control the game.
For the Oregon Ducks Dillon Brooks is averaging 17 points per game and Chris Boucher is hitting 55 percent from the floor. The Ducks Defense is also active with blocked shots and steals down the stretch. with a combined 12 blocks and 12 steals against Washington State and Washington at home last week.
