On Wednesday the Washington Huskies faced the Stanford Cardinal in the first round of the Pac-12 Tournament and they played like a team that had their backs against the wall building a commanding 20+ point lead. It was a 91-68 rout against a team that looked more like they wanted to play for next year in the Stanford Cardinal.

Now, the Washington Huskies face the top seeded Oregon Ducks on Thursday as a reinvigorated team on a neutral court. The team that played on Wednesday appears drastically different than the team that visited Eugene just a few weeks ago. The Huskies started the first half hitting 52 percent from the floor and 54 percent from beyond the arc. Washington went 0 for 7 in the second half from three point range and held a 28 point halftime lead over Stanford.

The Cardinal did not look good from the start opening the game hitting below 30 percent and finishing the game under 35 percent shooting from the floor. The Cardinal finish their season at 15-15 and will look for a possible NIT bid. Washington on the other hand has a chance at the NCAA Tournament and a win over Oregon could get them there. The Ducks come in as the Pac-12 Conference Champions for 2015 complete with a Coach of the Year in Oregon Ducks Head Coach Dana Altman and several players honored by the Pac-12 and Nationally for their efforts this season.

While the Huskies are playing for their Tournament lives, the Oregon Ducks just completed something for just the second time in winning the Pac-12 Title. The Ducks are looking for a number one seed and they can likely earn it with winning the Pac-12 Championship. To get there, they need to get past Washington first
