NCAA Tournament: Oregon Ducks Number 1 Seed In The West Region
The Oregon Ducks enter the NCAA Tournament as a 1 seed in the West Region and face either Holy Cross or Southern in the first round of the NCAA Tournament on Friday in Spokane, Washington.

Dana Altman and the Oregon Ducks finished the regular season at 28-6 and now need seven straight wins for a National Championship. The team has won eight straight games to close out the season, including a 5-5 record on the road to close out the Pac-12 Regular season. The Pac-12 Tournament saw three straight wins for the Ducks over Washington, Arizona and Utah. In the last three games in Las Vegas the Oregon Ducks have shown resolve. They finished the games against Washington, were forced to overtime against Arizona, and decimated Utah on Friday.
It has been a year of unforgettable moments for the Oregon Ducks, including an undefeated streak for the entire year that now stands at 25 straight games at Matthew Knight Arena dating back to the 2014-15 season. Oregon has stepped up on the road in recent weeks and now must do it again. The top seed is the highest for Oregon in school history.
The West Region will also see Oregon State a a 7 seed and Duke as a 4 seed. Baylor, a team that the Ducks beat this season is also in the region as a 5 seed.
The NCAA Tournament begins for the Oregon Ducks on Friday facing the winner of one of the play in games between Holy Cross and Southern. The other game in the bracket in Spokane set 8 seed St Joseph’s against 9 seed Cincinnati. Oregon’s matchup will tipoff on Friday at 4:27pm Pacific Time on TruTV.
