Boucher was added as a Junior College Transfer to this season’s roster and became a household name on both Offense and Defense helping the team to the Pac-12 Regular season title and the Pac-12 Championship that led to the Oregon Ducks earning a number one seed in the NCAA Tournament. The issue with Chris Boucher is that this could have been his only season in Eugene playing for Oregon due to an issue with his High School graduation which was delayed when he took a year off to tend to family matters according to GoDucks.com.
Chris Boucher saw his waiver request granted due to circumstances beyond his contol on Wednesday giving him another season with the Oregon Ducks in 2017. This season Boucher has been a beast breaking the U of O record for blocked shots. He has started 31 of the 34 games that Oregon has played so far this season. He leads the Pac-12 Conference with 106 blocks and on Offense is averaging 12 points per game. He is also hitting 36 percent from beyond the arc and is in line to make a National Statement in the NCAA Tournament.
