ESPN listed the top uniforms for teams in the NCAA Tournament Sweet 16 and while the Oregon Ducks rank high on the list in other sports the two uniforms the Oregon Men’s Basketball team has worn so far, have not been very impressive.

While the Oregon Ducks Football Uniforms appear to be top notch year in and year out, the threads when it comes to the College Basketball game need some work, according to ESPN and Paul Lukas. Uni Watch lists the teams in the Sweet 16 according to how they look on the court and the lone team left in the NCAA Tournament from the Pac-12 Conference came in among the bottom third of the list.

Some of the reason why, ok most, was because of the color Yellow. If Baylor was still in the Tournament they likely would have been ranked just as low or lower than Oregon. Realizing it is just a list teams near the top as far as look include North Carolina, Villanova and Indiana. Of course, these three are also more popular programs in the College basketball game and more recognizable Nationally, not that Oregon isn’t, but classic looks in the college game seem to be more appealing to fans than the ever changing fashion statement that teams like Oregon are.

"The Ducks have already worn two different neon sets in the tournament: one with the old-style “Oregon” lettering (an awful design — the old-style font doesn’t work with the school’s hyper-modern image) and one with the contemporary “Fighting Ducks” lettering (much better, relatively speaking, but the base color is still an eyesore). This is Oregon we’re talking about, so there’s always the chance they could switch to wearing white or come out wearing something completely new.Excerpt on Oregon Ducks from ‘Ranking The Sweet 16 Uniforms’ via ESPN"

In comparison the team that Oregon will play on Thursday night in the Sweet 16, Duke, came in 6th place in the poll. Ultimately it doesn’t matter what you wear, it matters if you win. A win for Oregon will put them into the Elite 8.
