George Horton has watched his team succeed and struggle this season, opening the year with some big wins and getting to just outside the top ten in several Baseball polls. The team has cooled off on the hitting front, but pitching is still going strong. While the team has lost five of their last seven games, pitching has remained a strong point and came through in a big way on Tuesday.

Kyle Robenoil picked up the start and gave up three runs and four hits through three innings. Horton then gave his relievers a workout. One inning each. Five relievers held Seattle scoreless with just two hits. Stephen Nagosek picked up the save in a 6-4 Oregon Ducks win. A win that saw the Oregon Offense wake up out of a recent slump.

Kyle Kasser powered the Offense going 3 for 5 with two runs and two RBI’s. For the game Oregon had 11 hits, almost matching their 14 hit barrage from Saturday in their lone win against Utah. It is a good sign that the team is starting to put it together. The roadtrip for Oregon is just beginning.
