On Friday night, it was not a perfect game by any means, but with Cheridan Hawkins on the mound the Oregon Ducks earned a 2-0 win. Saturday saw the bats come out in full force. Stanford had the first homerun ever hit at Jane Sanders Stadium in the top of the second, but the Ducks would strike back multiple times with Nikki Udria and Geri Ann Glasco. Udria hit two homeruns in the 11-2 run ruled win.

Saturday saw Freshman Megan Kliest take the mound for the first time at Jane Sanders Stadium. She allowed two runs and three hits in five innings of work. Glasco came in to throw a perfect sixth inning. The finale on Sunday was all business as Cheridan Hawkins returned to the mound for the Oregon Ducks.

Oregon once again started the scoring early with a 2-0 lead after Lauren Lindvall drove in two runners in the second inning. Alyssa Gillespie then saw two more runs come home off her sacrifice in the fourth inning as the Ducks took a 4-0 lead on the Stanford Cardinal. Hawkins settled in early throwing five scoreless innings with just two hits to earn her 10th win of the season.

There was a scary moment on Saturday when Jenna Lilley was hit by a pitch in the face. She was taken to the hospital. Last word was she would not need surgery. Oregon now has a few days to finish the outfield bleachers at Jane Sanders Stadium before welcoming UCLA to town this weekend.
