The Oregon Ducks Football team will look to improve in a 9-4 record in 2015 that saw a heart breaking loss in the Alamo Bowl to TCU. Spring Practice begins on Tuesday with a new energy and another one-year Quarterback in the mix in Dakota Prukop.
It is hard to believe that just a few months from now we will be playing college football again. Spring Practice begins today for the Oregon Ducks and one player has an advantage over former Quarterback Vernon Adams. Dakota Prukop comes in as another one year player, but he is here for Spring Camp. Of course we all remember the math test results hear around Twitter last year. Not the case for the 2016 Oregon Ducks. Of course, with every new Spring there are other changes to look forward to.
Senior players have moved on, new recruits will look to make their move to get on the field. There are a pair of comeback stories that could make some big headlines in Devon Allen, who is currently back to full strength and taking Track and Field by storm for the Oregon Ducks, along with Pharoah Brown’s return from a devastating injury at Utah, now going on two years ago.
There is a change in Coaching with the departure of Scott Frost and the hiring of Matt Lubick on Offense, and also a new Defensive scheme and Coordinator with Brady Hoke. The Oregon Ducks will shift to the 4-3 style of Defense this season which should allow for a new dynamic and a ‘rover’ on the line. It should be fun to see how things play out.
Of course, these are some of the highlights or what should be an intriguing Spring Camp for the Oregon Ducks.
