Oregon Baseball Looks To Build On 5-5 Road Record vs Notre Dame
The Oregon Ducks continue a road trip to the Midwest to take on Notre Dame on Thursday and Michigan State over the weekend after losing two of three against the Washington Huskies last week.

Oregon heads East for the second time this season with a one game series against the Fighing Irish to continue a seven game road trip. Isiah Carranza will get the start for the Ducks. Oregon will look to get above the .500 mark on the road this season and find their Offensive rhtyhm.
Kyle Kasser is the hot bat right now for Oregon going 10 for 18 over the last four games for Head Coach George Horton. Off the bench he is hitting .435 this season. As a team the Oregon Ducks are hitting just .211 with their opponents hitting at .218. Notre Dame is going to be a good challenge.
The Fighting Irish have won five of their last six games including a sweep of Virginia Tech last weekend. As a team they are hitting at a .266 clip and have several players hitting well over .300 this season. Zak Kutsulis leads the team at .352 for the 12-10 Fighting Irish.
Stating Pitching for Notre Dame is holding their own and has an ERA just below 4 at 3.9, Starters have 6 wins and 5 losses on the season. Michael Hearme gets the start on Thursday for Notre Dame. He is 2-0 on the season and has surrendered 7 hits wiht 12 strikeouts in 10 innings this season.
If the Oregon Ducks can get to Notre Dame pitching early it would help with confidence and could lead to a much needed road victory to help the team get back on track heading into the weekend against the Spartans.
