The Oregon Ducks Baseball team returns to PK Park to open a four game homestand and a big matchup with 9th ranked Cal.
When the Oregon Ducks scheduled their most recent road trip to the midwest, the plan was to face Notre Dame and Michigan State.

What happened was a road trip that saw the Ducks lose two games one to Notre Dame and the other to Michigan State. Two games were cancelled against the Spartans due to weather. George Horton also watched his club lose two of three games to Washington on the road. Oregon now returns home for a four game homestand.
Oregon will face Portland on Wednesday before welcoming a top ten ranked Cal team to PK Park for a three game series over the weekend. The Pilots come to Eugene after being swept last weekend by 24th ranked BYU. The have lost 9 of their last 12 games this season. The Ducks would like to start of this week with a win with a ranked opponent coming in this weekend.
Kyle Kasser and Jake Bennett are two players that have led the team of late. Kasser has started the last six games for Oregon and his hitting .375 with runs, 3 RBI’s and 3 doubles in that stretch. Bennett is hitting at .375 in the same span with six RBI’s and two runs.
Caleb Whalen is one to watch for Portland. He is second in the country with 14 doubles and is also not afraid to sacrifice. He is hitting .369 with 20 runs, 9 doubles, and 20 RBI’s this season.
