The Oregon Ducks were able to get back on Offensive track following a series loss last weekend against the UCLA Bruins, their first Pac-12 Series loss since 2013. Oregon took a two game winning streak on the road against Oregon State and made it three straight and also notched their 30th overall win of the season. Cheridan Hawkins won the opener following a disastrous opener last weekend against the Bruins.

Hawkins scattered 5 hits over 7 innings giving up one run and striking out 10 Oregon State Beavers on Friday afternoon in Corvallis. Oregon found early Offense with a run in the second inning and two runs in the third as Danica Mercado hit a home run down the left field line. Geri Anne Glasco doubled to score Nikki Udria as Oregon allowed Oregon State to plate a run, but that was all Hawkins would allow.

Danica Mercado went 2 for 3 for the game and added an RBI. Geri Anne Glasco went 1 for 2 and Lauren Lindvall went 1 for 3 with an RBI in the win. Hawkins won her 12th game of the year and brought her ERA back down, to 2.62. It was the Oregon Ducks 10th straight win against Oregon State.
