The Oregon Ducks entered the game with Oregon State on a five game winning streak, but Oregon State needed the win more.

The game began with Kyle Robeniol on the mound for the Oregon Ducks. He threw two innings and had an early exit giving up 6 runs on 7 hits and putting the Ducks in a big hole early, but as they have done over the last two weeks, Oregon was not ready to give this one up. They would fight back, chipping away at the Oregon State lead. The Ducks would get two runs back in the 4th inning off a Stephen Packard home run to get the comeback started.
George Horton would watch the Offense continue in the sixth inning that saw Oregon put up 6 runs, capped off by a Travis Maniot home run, his third in four games It tied the game at 8. The battle would continue into the 9th inning that saw Oregon State put up 3 runs off Cooper Stiles and Matt Mercer. It was too much for Oregon in the end.
In the bottom of the ninth inning, the Ducks saw two runs cross home plate, but it was not enough as Oregon State won the game 11-10. Craig St-Louis was a welcomed sight as the infielder returned to the lineup to provide two hits on the night. Austin Grebeck who had a big weekend against USC saw his 9 game hitting streak come to an end against the Beavers.

The Oregon Ducks have won five of their last six and now head down I-5 to UCLA to face the Bruins on the road in a three game series starting on Thursday night.
