The Oregon Ducks Baseball team lost three games this year to the weather issues that they could not control. One game against Alabama and two games against Michigan State, both on the road were cancelled. On Tuesday, it was announced that some of those games will be made up.
Gonzaga has agreed to play Oregon for an early week two game series May 9th and 10th according to GoDucks.com. Oregon was criticized somewhat last season for not having a very strong schedule so this year they went out and made it better. Unfortunately the weather got in the way.
The Zags right now are red hot, and are currently leading the West Coast Conference. Oregon, despite losing three games against UCLA are just two games out of first place in the Pac-12 Conference. Facing Gonzaga should also help the Ducks Strength of Schedule and RPI numbers as the season winds down. Both game against Gonzaga are slated for 6pm first pitch.
