The Golden Bears entered the game with the 2nd Best ERA in the Pac-12 behind only Oregon. They would get an early cushion. Cal was on the board first with two runs in the bottom of the first inning, but the Oregon Ducks would get one back in the second as Cheridan Hawkins found her comfort zone in the second inning. She had seven strikeouts as the Ducks headed into the top of the third. An Oregon throwing error saw four strikeouts in the first inning.

From that point it was all Oregon. The Ducks scored six in the third inning, five in the fourth inning and put the game out of reach in the fifth scoring 15 runs off 11 hits. Jenna Lilley and Lauren Lindvall were both 2 for 3 in the game. Mike White watch his team hit .440 overall and .500 with runners in scoring position to pick up their 13th straight win.

Cheridan Hawkins threw five inning and gave up just two hits and two runs. She struck out 15 Cal Batters including sitting down the Golden Bears in the 8th inning and sitting down the first two to start the ninth. Hawkins notched her 18th win of the season. The Ducks need two more wins to take the Pac-12 Conference crown.
