The two losses were taken by their most experienced pitchers in Cole Irvin and David Peterson on Friday and Saturday. The team managed a big win on Sunday when the bats came out. Oregon plated three runs in the first inning and never looked back. They would win 12-2.

Oregon would pick up 11 hits on Mother’s Day and Matt Mercer would give a big six inning performance saving the Oregon Ducks Bullpen for what could be one of the biggest series of the season against Gonzaga on Monday and Tuesday at PK Park. Mercer threw six innings giving up 2 runs and scattering 10 hits. He had 4 strikeouts for the win. The Ducks now face Gonzaga who, with the addition of the two games with Oregon are on a 13 game road trip.
