The Oregon Ducks Baseball team is starting to look like a team that will not make the NCAA Tournament. Opportunities to make an impression are running out just as fast.
The team has not been terrible this season, it seems that they are not clicking on all cylinders when they need to to succeed. Even though Starter Matt Krook gave up five runs against Gonzaga in the first of the two game series, the Oregon Ducks fought back to tie the game, but again fell short in the end as the bullpen faltered for the third tine in the last four games.
Oregon has shown they won’t back down from a fight and came back down five runs to lead 7-6, but still fell to the Bulldogs on Monday. A similar scenerio happened in the first two games against Arizona State on the road last week with two tough losses in the end. Oregon is running out of time and at 22-20 may have to win out for a shot at the NCAA Tournament and to boost their RPI.
