Oregon Softball: Lindvall Powers Ducks Past UCLA In Game One
Oregon Softball picked up where they left off in the Regional round last week with a potent Offensive outburst to take the first game against UCLA in the Super Regional Saturday night.

It was a dead heat for the first few innings, but if you blinked, you missed a quick six run inning by the Oregon Ducks. Janelle Lindvall was the storyline in Game One, but after last weekend, Alyssa Gillespie was the storyline. Lindvall had two home runs on Saturday night leading the Ducks to an 8-1 win over the UCLA Bruins. Oregon found a way to get to UCLA Starter Johanna Grauer early after one inning She gave up a series of walks. Paige McDuffie came in to limit Oregon from getting to home plate, but it would not last.
The Ducks broke it open in the third with Lindvall with three hits and four RBI’s for the game. She became the all-time leader in home runs for Oregon in the win with 46. Cheridan Hawkins showed that her Apriil problem was a May solution throwing a complete game four hitter giving up just one run. and striking out 5.

Oregon Softball will look to take the series on Sunday night. Game 2 will begin at 4pm, wih Game 3 starting around 6:30, if necessary(30 minutes after the conclusion of Game 2).
