On Monday, the Big Ten Conference announced the kickoff time for the Oregon Ducks showdown against Nebraska and former Oregon State Head Coach Mike Riley. The Ducks and Cornhuskers will kickoff for a 12:30pm Pacific Time kickoff on ABC.
Following the announcement that the first two games, against UC Davis and Virginia will be played at 2pm and 7:30pm Pacific Time respectively. UC Davis on September 3rd kicks off at 2pm on Pac-12 Networks. Virginia the following week on September 10th is set for a 7:30pm kickoff on ESPN.
So far, the 2016 season appears to be on the right track. I’m not sure how Virginia feels about playing a game the second weekend of the season at 10:30pm, but we’ll ask that question as we get closer to the game. As the Pac-12 Schedule goes, so will the television times for the rest of the year. One thing is already in stone. If Oregon is undefeated following the game in Lincoln, expect a late afternoon/evening kickoff for the Pac-12 opener the following week.
