The Maui Invitational takes place from November 21st-23rd and has crowed some of the biggest early season NCAA Tournament Contenders as Champions, including the Duke Blue Devlls eight times. This year, Oregon joins the ranks of teams who will be looking to get to March including Wisconsin, Tennessee, North Carolina, Oklahoma State, UConn, Chiminade and their first game matchup, Georgetown.
"Georgetown prides itself on being a physical basketball team. A few years ago we did a good job of keeping the floor spread. We scored some points, but we also had a hard time stopping them.Oregon Head Coach Dana Altman on Facing Georgetown(via GoDucks.com)"
