In his first season in Miami, Jordan, the number three overall pick saw limited action returning from a shoulder injury. The former Oregon Standout has failed three drug tests and with Training Camp starting next week in Miami, there are some waiting to see if he can return to the field in 2016.
Reports out of Miami are good. He has set things straight and appears ready to go. Adam Beasley from the Miami Herald said he looks ‘brand new’. While looking and performing are two different things, there is a reason to get excited for Miami Fans. There is a new coach, and a new Defense since the last time he saw the field. Not to mention, Dion Jordan is one-hundred percent healthy.
According to NFL Network, Jordan is still on his Rookie Deal, and if he is reinstated he could see a pay increase before the season even begins, which could be an added incentive for performance. Not many players in the NFL get a second chance, but that door may open for Jordan. It appears if it does, he is ready to step through it for the Miami Dolphins in 2016.
Miami faces the New York Giants in their first preseason game of the year on August 12th.
