International Champions Cup: Aurier Scores Two As PSG Beats Inter Milan 3-1
It was a Preseason Game for Inter Milan and Paris Saint-Germain, but PSG came out with the 3-1 win in the International Champions Cup Sunday at Autzen Stadium.

Both Inter Milan and Paris Saint-Germain entered the match at Autzen Stadium at a disadvantage. Both teams had key players that were injured. In the first ten minutes, Inter Milan’s Goal Keeper Handanovic had to big saves off hits toward the net. Several PSG Free Kicks ended up away from the net.
The Atmosphere at Autzen Stadium was a little lighter than usual, but the 20,000+ fans that did make their way out were loud cheering for both teams. Paris Saint-Germain saw a good part of the possession to begin the game, 64 percent to Inter Milan at 32 percent.
PSG struck first off the right side as Surge Aurier made it 1-0 in th 14th minute.
Into the 31st minute, Paris Saint-Germain would increase their time of posession to 70 percent and started working the Wide approach to goal. Inter Milan would offer a counter and have shot on goal that went wide right. Inter Milan would see two corner kicks blocked by PSG.
PSG saw a wide open opportunity go over the net. Maxwell saw the ball fall in front of him on somewhat of a broken play. A penalty kick for Inter Milan in the 45th minute saw the game tied at 1-1 with Jovetic scoring to even the match.
The story of the first half was Paris Saint-Germain and their playing of ‘keepaway’ on Inter Milan. Possession was a big part of the first half, of course Inter Milan had opportunities, but PSG had the ball close to 68 percent of the period.

PSG started where they left off in the first half. The first three minutes saw two scoring attempts go wide before Inter Milan saw the ball intercepted on their end. PSG would add a second goal in the 61st minute off the foot of Layvin Kurzawa.
Entering the final ten minutes of the game, PSG did not let up on time of possession. Both teams loaded up on substitutions over the final 20 minutes of play. Attendance on the day was 24,147.
PSG added a third goal in the 87th minute. Serge Aurier scored his second of the match giving Paris Saint-Germain the win in Game 2 of the International Champions Cup.
