Dare I say it, but the Tennessee Titans are quietly building a Super Bowl Contender, but probably not for this upcoming season. The NFL Draft waters were well navigated netting more than a handful of young talent. On Friday, they added a Veteran in Wide Receiver Andre Johnson according to ESPN.
Johnson played for the Indianapolis Colts last season and showed durability in sixteen games. He had just four touchdowns on the year, but part of the drop in his numbers was in part to the injury to Quarterback Andrew Luck. He joins a Receiving Corps that is ready for a breakout and Andre Johnson has something to prove. In part, that age is just a number. He is 35 and pushing toward the Sunset of his NFL Career.

Regardless of who the Quarterback was in the past, Johnson has to be excited about his Quarter back now. Marcus Mariota had his growing pains in his Rookie season, but should have his health and more confidence entering year number two. Tennessee has worked to make the team better through the NFL Draft and Free Agency and built quite a bit around their Star Quarterback, more so than any other team in the NFL this offseason.

If there is anyone who should feel at home at Nissan Stadium, it is Johnson. He returns as the leading Wide Receiver in Team History with close to 14,000 yards and 64 touchdowns.
