I’m not usually much for video games, but this stuck out to me for more than one reason. EA Sports has had the Madden NFL franchise for a long time. The latest edition is due out later this month and one former Oregon Duck, DeForest Buckner should be a player you want if you play.
According to EA Sports, Buckner tied last year’s Rookie Quarterback Marcus Mariota with a 78 Overall Rating. All of his ratings are above 80, with a Power number of 87. Buckner is in good company among Rookies in the game.
Running Back Ezekiel Elliot(80), Kicker Robert Agayo(79), and Defensive Star from Ohio State Joey Bosa(79) were also on the list.
The Madden NFL Franchise is ever-evolving. Each season they produce new elements in the game that make it more realistic, be it with graphics, new voices, or other surprises along the way. The game allows you to build your own team with the use of Player Cards which turn into players on the field with their respective ratings and perform to the level of that rating.
