Oregon Football Recruiting: Defensive Tackle Ratu Mafileo Signs With Oregon, Eligible Immediately
Oregon Defensive Coordinator Brady Hoke has been working this summer and it has paid off . Oregon has signed JUCO Defensive Tackle Ratu Mafileo for the upcoming season.

The Oregon Ducks filled a place of need very late in the recruiting period for the upcoming season, which gets started in a month with Fall Camp beginning next Monday. In the new 4-3 Defense Mafileo could find a new home at one of the tackle positions and become an immediate impact type of player.
According to Duck Territory, Ratu Mafileo was previously committed to Texas A&M before he received an Oregon offer. He spent a good part of the summer before he made his decision. The Defensive Tackle played last season at the College of San Mateo and will have two seasons of eligibility starting with the 2016 season.
247 Sports ranks Mafileo as the 11th best at his position and 96th best overall on their 2016 Junior College Player list. The Oregon Ducks Defense will undergo a big change in 2016 from a 3-4 Defense to a 4-3 Defense.

The Oregon Ducks begin Fall Camp next Monday, August 8th. The first game of the 2016 season is set for Saturday, September 3rd. Oregon will host UC Davis at Autzen Stadium(2pm Pacific Time, Pac-12 Networks)
