Fall Camp for the Oregon Ducks officially came to a close on Thursday and decisions were made over the last eighteen hours as to who would Start, Backup and Redshirt for the upcoming season for the Oregon Ducks Football team. Dakota Prukop is the Oregon Starting Quarterback, but Travis Jonsen is not the backup. Local Eugene Recruit Justin Herbert impressed enough in Fall Camp to move into the backup spot. He will likely see the field at some point during the first game against UC Davis I would think.
Devon Allen, who recently returned from the Olympics is on the depth chart at Wide Receiver in an ‘or’ position with new comber Alex Odofile. Dwayne Stanford, Charles Nelson and Darren Carrington are the listed Starters at Wide Receiver.
Other notables are Running Back Royce Freeman and Tight End Pharoah Brown listed in the Starting position.
Defensively there will be new faces across the new 4-3 scheme. Arrion Springs and Ugo Amadi are at the Cornerback spots. The Defensive End position will have experience with Henry Mondeau and Justin Collins anchoring the D-Line with Tyree Robinson and Juwaan Williams at Safety.
Kickoff Returner is set with Charles Nelson pulling double duty. Aiden Schneider and Matt Wogan are the placekickers with Schneider on the top of the depth chart.
