The Oregon Ducks Offensive Line is dealing with the bumps a bruises of Fall Camp. Entering Game Week there are several players that may be banged up including Jake Pisarcik who was seen several weeks back on a crutch. Left Tackle Tyrell Crosby may also be a concern.
Crosby was seen in a walking boot last week according to the Oregonian, and was expected to see a foot specialist this weekend. If he is unable to go, it could mean new faces on the Offensive Line for the Opening game on Saturday. Aside from Camp, the first few games are time for the Offensive Line to gel. Experience for younger players can also be invaluable early in the season.
With Offensive Line Questions highlighting part of last season, the story line may push into 2016.
Brady Aiello is the backup to Crosby and was a highly touted recruit out of California. If Crosby is out, youth will be served up front for the Oregon Ducks. Crosby covered Quarterback Dakota Prukop on his Blind Side throughout Fall Camp so that in itself will be worth watching during the first game and moving forward.
Having some experience on the Line could be a key to the 2016 season and while learning as you go has its advantages, when you get into the Pac-12 Slate the gelling should be complete with lessons learned early in the season.
