The team is working their way up the National Rankings in key categories.
With a big performance on Saturday, Running Back Royce Freeman entered the Heisman Conversation, but it is still very early. The Oregon Ducks are not quite returned to National Relevancy but being in the Top 10 in the Nation is not a bad thing. The Junior comes in 7th with 294 yards to lead the Pac 12. Nick Wilson from Arizona is just behind Freeman with 254 yards through the first two games.
Passing Offense has the Oregon Ducks 25th with several Pac-12 teams near the top in California and Washington State, both will see the Ducks in 2016. Defensively the surprise may be Colorado.
The Buffaloes lead the Nation in Total Defense giving up 160 yards per game, the team is also 2-0 on the season and will see Oregon at Autzen Stadium in just under two weeks. Dakota Prukop and the Oregon Offense rank 8th in third down conversion completions. Only Colorado is higher in 4th place. The start of Pac-12 play for Oregon could be a good one.
