It has been an up and down season for 2nd Year Quarterback Marcus Mariota and the Titans, but a big win over the Green Bay Packers on Sunday showed that the former Oregon Signal Caller is getting more confident with every play.
Green Bay Quarterback Aaron Rogers threw two interceptions into a Defense that stepped up their game and Mariota threw close to 300 yards missing just six passes and throwing four touchdowns in a win that saw Tennessee get to an even .500 at 5-5 on the season.
Mariota has 17 touchdowns in his last six games with just 3 interceptions and he has still not thrown a pick in the Red Zone this season.
It is a huge stepping stone. It is getting us in the right direction. There’s still a lot of season left, a lot of things we have to go and accomplish. But hopefully we can use this as momentum for the rest of the year.
