The Oregon Ducks will welcome back Dillon Brooks for the Maui Jim Maui Invitational starting with Georgetown on Monday.

Late last week Jordan Bell was asked about Dillon Brooks and his response was cut off by Oregon Ducks Spokesperson Greg Walker. According to Comcast Sportsnet on Sunday Head Coach Dana Altman said Brooks would be available to play this week, but would be brought in gradually with limited minutes to start. For a team that has not been as efficient on Offense as Altman envisioned through the first three games, it will be a welcomed addition.

Georgetown has seen the Oregon Ducks before on several occasions. Two seasons ago the opened the season with the Ducks coming away with the win. The Hoyas come in at 1-2, but blew out South Carolina Upstate before falling to Maryland and Arkansas State. Oregon is 2-1, losinng to only Baylor, who out muscled the Ducks with a zone presence Oregon could not figure out. The game may have been different if Brooks had played. Last season in Eugene, Oregon had Dwayne Benjamin and Elgin Cook to get to the basket.

"Last Time Out:Oregon took care of Valparaiso 76-54. Chris Boucher led with 25 point, Jordan Bell added 15 and had 3 blocks as Oregon shot 48 percent on the night. Payton Pritchard had 9 points and was perfect from the free throw line. He also added a team high 5 assists."

In what may be a surprise for some, Chris Boucher is leading the Oregon Ducks on Offense. He is averaging 17 points per game. For Georgetown L.J. Peak will be one to watch pushing closer to 18 points per game. With Brooks, the Oregon Ducks are a different team. We will see how quickly the Offensive Pieces can come together on Friday.

Oregon and Georgetown are set to tipoff at 1:30pm Pacific Time from Lahaina, Hawaii in the Maui Jim Maui Invitational.
