Oregon Ducks Begin Month Long Homestand With Boise State
The Oregon Ducks come home to welcome the Boise State Broncos on Monday night.
Oregon has not played their best basketball to start the 2016 season. The Preseason polls had Dana Altman’s team in the Top 5, but losses now have the Oregon Ducks tumbling toward the bottom of the rankings.
Last week the team had three games in Hawaii. After losing to Georgetown, the Oregon Ducks watched as Dillon Brooks hit a three pointer in overtime to pick up a much needed win. Oregon then went on to defeat UConn in a big early season win.
Tyler Dorsey had been sluggish throughout the first part of the season. He put up double digits in a win over Army, but has missed shot after shot and had bad timed turnovers against Tennessee that could have led to a loss. Dorsey turned it around against UConn putting up 19 points in the win.

The Oregon Defensive effort was better, but not great allowing the Huskies back into the game. Dillon Brooks is beginning to find his form from last season and with a month of home games to till the end of the year, the Ducks have time to get in some work to get back into form for Pac-12 Play."
Boise State comes to Eugene after beating the Ducks in Idaho last season. Dorsey did not take part last season due to a knee injury. His progression will be needed not just tonight, but for the rest of the season for Oregon to get back into form.

Dillon Brooks saw his first action of the season in Hawaii and took a game or two to find his basketball legs. The addition of Brooks back to the lineup should add some cohesiveness to the starting lineup over the next month.
The Boise State Broncos come into Matthew Knight Arena matching Oregon with 20 win seasons each of the last four years. Paris Austin and Justinian Jessup are two players to watch o Monday night.
Jessup put up 20 points against Presbyterian and Austin has landed 15 of his last 16 field goals and pushing 14 points per game since the start of the season.
The Broncos are 3-2 so start the season and are averaging 84 point per game. Chandler Hutchison leads the team in scoring with close to 19 points per game and close to 10 rebounds.
The Oregon Ducks and Boise State Broncos tipoff at 8pm Pacific Time from Matthew Knight Arena. The game will be broadcast on Pac-12 Network.
