After a promising season, the Oregon Ducks season ended against Michigan in the NCAA Tournament.
Oregon Women’s Volleyball had a solid 2016. Entering the year, they had the Nation’s second best Recruiting Class and team chemistry after a slow start began to build – and quickly.
Oregon Ducks Head Coach Jim Moore is not afraid to play the best teams in the Country and got an early with with Florida, Nebraska and Texas coming to Eugene. Oregon dropped their first two games against Texas and Florida but learned enough to reel off 7 straight wins.

The Oregon Ducks hovered around 15th for a good part of the season with some ups and downs, but a big positive is the team was road tested and well, approved. The Ducks were undefeated outside of Matthew Knight Arena until the last two weeks of the regular season.
Several Ducks were named to the AVCA Pacific All-Region Team on Monday.
Lindsay Vander Weide led a healthy squad through the season and Ronika Stone showed she can play with anyone. Amanda Benson was a big key with 575 digs on the year averaging close to 5 digs per set. She finished her Oregon career just 53 digs shy of the program record.
Vander Weide led the team in kills, over 3 per set, as well as points with close to 4 pr set while hitting at .266 on the year. Taylor Agost also had a solid Senior campaign hitting .327.

The Oregon Ducks finish the season at 21-10 going 13-7 in the Pac-12 Conference, 11-7 at home and an impressive 9-3 on the road in 2016.
