With the 2016 Regular season complete, the Pac-12 announced Conference awards and Sabrina Ionescu earned Freshman Player of the Year honors.
Ionescu led the charge for the Oregon Ducks all season with multiple double doubles and triple doubles. She has led Oregon to a likely NCAA Tournament appearance this season despite the team being on a current three-game losing streak(a few wins in the Pac-12 Tournament will help).

Ruthy Hebard joins Ionescu begin honored on the All-Freshman Team and Junior Lexi Bando is hitting over 50 percent from beyond the arc. She was named as a Pac-12 Honorable Mention. The trio has been the key to the Oregon Ducks success for the entire season.
Sabrina Ionescu enters the Pac-12 Tournament averaging 13 points per game this season. Ruthy Hebard has perfected the inside shot averaging 15 points per game and she is shooting over 63 percent from the field. Bando is the Ducks threat from beyond the arc when Kelly Graves needs a spark for the team.
Sparks have come in a flurry this season with home game wins against UCLA and USC and a big road win at Cal. Sabrina Ionescu hit the game winning shot against the Bears.
Oregon enters the Pac-12 Tournament this week starting with a matchup against Arizona in Seattle on Thursday at 8:30pm Pacific Time.
