Marcus Mariota One Step Closer To Recovery, Titans Considering WR Brandin Cooks
Former Oregon Ducks Quarterback Marcus Mariota is on schedule in his recovery from a broken leg.

Last week Mariota was taken off a scooter and moved to a walking boot according to ESPN. The Tennessee Titans Quarterback will be starting his third season in the NFL this season and the team is benig ‘cautious’ with their QB keeping him out of OTA’s and focusing on Training Camp for the upcoming 2017 season.
Marcus Mariota is rehabbing currently at the University of Oregon at the Center named after him at the Oregon Ducks Football Facility. He spoke with season ticket holders last week in a Conference Call. While their QB is recovering, the Titans are busy looking to improve the team around Mariota.
On Thursday, ESPN reported Tennessee was among two teams speaking with New Orleans about a potential trade for former Oregon State and Saints Wide Receiver Brandin Cooks. The Eagles are the other team, but according to the report, the Titans may have the advantage. New business for the coming season cannot take place until March 9th.
Marcus Mariota and Brandin Cooks would be an interesting development in the offseason if it comes to fruition.
Mariota is entering his third season with Tennessee after leading the team to the cusp of the NFL Playoffs last season.
